Every diet expert I know says it is very important that you don't eliminate completely your favorite food from your diet because when you reach your goal you are likely to over indulge in it.

With this in mind, since pizza is mine, is there a Sonoma Diet Pizza receipe?

Well what I do is start with a whole wheat pita bread to use as crust. Top with a homemade sauce of some sort. Add lean meat - chicken, soy sausage, tueky pepperoni... or go veggie. Top with whatever veggies float your boat. I top mine with soy cheese - no more than an ounce. You could use regular low fat cheese, but keep in mind the saturated fat content as well as the fact that dairy plays a minor role in Sonoma.
