Big Hi.
I have been thinking about doing the Med. diet or the Sonoma;
I really am not sure yet. I don't have the Money to do shopping until Thursday; so that gives me time To do a little research on each plan. Just wanted to stop in and say HI! ;) |

Hi Shous and welcome! Unless you already have the basics in your cupboard your initial visit to the store will be a bit pricey... so don't faint at the checkout counter...
But once you have the essential staples like olive oil, variety of beans and grains etc... Your shopping will be a lot easier and affordable. While you are doing your research, don't forget to clean out your cupboards, frig, and freezer. You won't want junk around.. and will need space for the yummy good stuff you buy. ;) |

I find that the Mediterranean is the easiest long-term plan for me to follow. The food choices and recipes are excellent, and the ideas it promotes seem to follow what I've learned along the way from a multitude of sources (plant-based oils are better than animal-based oils, fish and poultry better than fatty meats, plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables). |
