Salad Dressing?

I will be starting Sonoma on Tues and just want to be prepared:)

Do you just put a little olive oil and vinagar on your salad or are their other choices besides olive oil and spices?

Thanks!

Welcome.

The book has 4 recipes for salad dressing as well as a bunch of vinaigrettes. Commercial low fat or fat free dressings are fine, according to the book. Just keep an eye on the sugar content.

I believe my favorite salad dressing is Sonoma friendly - T.Marzetti Light Balsamic Vinaigrette. I love to make my own dressings, with a variety of balsamic vinegars, but I always keep a bottle or two of the Marzetti dressing on hand since it's so good.

Has anyone made those recipes in the book for salad dressing? Which one was best? Thanks for the inmput... what do you consider a serving? 2 Tablespoons?

The Sonoma website lists Paul Newman light dressings as o.k. too. I really like their balsamic vinaigrette. So much easier than making my own.
