30 minutes in the morning is great!

I did 20 before work and am about to do another 40 as missed my spinning class.

0.5 lbs down this morning. Not much but enough to move my tracker

I'm here.. been getting my exercise of course. Just have been busy with junk but I have peeped in from time to time. I should be earning my bronze medal from the president's challenge next week, so that is exciting. Gold won't be until September or so, if I keep it up that is.

You all seem to be motivating each other well.. that is great. I want to see more people on this thread because last month I think we ended up with like 19 pages for the month and here we are at the final week and only at 6??? tsk tsk tsk!!

Yep, skyootr, 30 minutes is a great start!!

Clareh, congrats on the .5 loss!!

I was also wondering about LindaT; maybe we need to get the prod after her!

Legs feel much better today and looking forward to adding weight on Friday. Today did only 40 minutes of cardio: 20 on the and 20 on the . I was gonna also do 20 on the elliptical but was really tired after the treadmill.

Congratulations on the bronze medal Linda!!! WTG!!! I say go for the gold too!!
we've been busy beavers but yes, saadly the numbers are down. Wonder where they all go to? Cyber Heaven?

SF~ sounds like leg life is getting back to normal slowly but surely. Take good care of them!!!

Clareh~ congrats on the .5 lb loss!!! I would take it too!!!

Sky ~I only weigh in once a week or twice a month.

I did my 30 & 15 and realized i did too much yesterday!! I
thought it was Monday. I always get confused with those 3 day weekends.

skyootr- I kind of weight myself every day (sometimes I forget, so I'm not THAT bad) It's more out of interest than anything else as I can have a bit of a problem with water retention and have been known to gain and lose 7 lbs round TOM. So I figure that if I weigh myself more often I'll know it's water and not get down about it.

4.5 mile walk. Being very brave tomorrow and meeting my friend at the gymn for a 7am spinning class. Not sure that I'll be ready for that level of exercise at that time of the day but have agreed to give it a go...

I'll let you know how I get on!

I "officially" weigh myself once a week on Wednesday morning. Sometimes, for curiosity, I'll weigh myself at other times. It's interesting to see the scale go up and down throughout the week (and the day), but I have a general downward trend of about .5 to 1 pound per week.

Hey Mel, don't overdo the exercise!! And glad that your neck and shoulder are better.

Clareh, let us know about the 7am spinning class. I think I need to do more cardio and am thinking about a spinning class ...

Today did upper-body weights. Funny thing is that I didn't lose any strength in my upper body when I was sick, in fact I feel ready to increase the weight. I also ran up six flights of stairs to the top of the parking structure when leaving the doctor's office (have to take my cardio where I can get it!)

sf40- I spin quite a lot (I'm sure there's a joke there!) and love it. You don;t need to be co- ordinated , you control the level you work at, there's punchy music and because it's intense it's over really quickly.

What's not to like!!

Default where is everyone today??

Thanks for the spinning info, Clareh! The fact that you don't need to be coordinated sounds good to me (I always hated those dance-aerobic classes because I was the dork who couldn't follow along). I think I did one class a long time ago and decided I liked outdoor cycling better. But now I have much stubborn fat to burn and am thinking of doing this once or twice a week in addition to the stuff I do now.

So where is everyone today??? I got in 60 minutes of cardio: 30 each on the treadmill and the elliptical. I am planning another change in my exercise routine, to begin next Monday.

Mel- you've made me laugh! Hope the hip feels better soon. Maybe we could have a spinning/ circling challenge!!

Did the class yesterday morning, which was really great, but made me far more hungry than I would've been otherwise (I mean ravenous) and I ended up at Subway for lunch as salad would not do (Hopefully this doesn't mean I need to leave the Sonoma thread ) I did half an hour on the cross trainer last night as well as I was tired but had people for dinner (so it woke me up)

Today, I'm either going to rest or I might go to the gymn and work out gently and have a swim AS TOMORROW I AM WALKING A HALF MARATHON

Very steadily- just to see how I go with the distance, but it's still a scary thought.

Have a great Friday

Cool Marathon!!! Wtg!!!

GOOD LUCK CLAREH!!! ENJOY THE WALK!!! if that's enjoyable... You are going to be crowned Miss Fit USA WTG!!

30 and 15 for me. The hip pain seemed to just disappear. Not sure what's going on. I live for Aleve!! I must be their best customer. I think this weekend will be no exercise and just cleaning and some meditating/deep breathing. i need to space things out a bit better.

Happy Friday and have a great weekend everyone.
