Sonoma/Med APRIL Support Thread!
Well, it is a new month, and boy do I need support. :o I have gained one pound each of the past two Wednesday weigh-ins. I have been sick and unfocused, but apparently didn't lose my appetite... So that is why I haven't been checking in lately. I am seriously thinking about starting all over with Wave One, and maybe doing an exercise boot camp. Anybody else still trying to follow Sonoma?

That's so frustrating that you have gained instead of losing! I understand being sick ... I was doing well until yesterday when I felt like a cold was coming on. I wanted something to drink other than water ... ended up with an orange juice. Not so bad, especially for the cold, but it put me on a downward spiral. Three chocolate chip cookies was the worst, then pita with hummus (should have had the veggies), then hamburger with cheese and 1 piece of whole wheat bread as a bun.
This morning I woke up and out of rebellion, I think, got breakfast from McDonalds. I was so tired because my kids got me up at 6:00 for the 5th day in a row. So I decided McDonalds would take care of it. And then I had about 5 pieces of chocolate that I brought back from Europe for the people in my office. But lunch and dinner were much better--salad and felafels for lunch and a blueberry shake for dinner. I guess it's not so bad, considering that I still ate less than I would have 2 months ago. And I'm amazed that I really don't want the sugar. I could use an exercise boot camp--I just need to make it a priority. Check in-even if you aren't doing well. I read other places too, just to get some inspiration. There are so many people who have done amazing things, and you can too! |
