Thanks for starting this thread. A few years ago, I lost over 50 lbs
by following the Mediterranean diet and an exercise program.
Needless to say, naughty eating habits
returned ,so I am restarting.
I am planning to start tomorrow and record in a food journal, this
helped a lot last time around. I had to really think about the selections
each day,rather than aim for a fast food drive thru.
In the October thread, you mentioned you are taking pilates classes.
If you have had a year of pilates classes , you can do the mat exercises
at home. Recently I purchased a Pilates Stick (and the dvds). Beside
the mat exercises, you can do many of the Reformer and Cadillac exercises
as well. As I am in the Northeast, our winters can be difficult and going
out to evening class often just not possible. This is working out very
well. Also, add dance workouts and weight exercises to prevent
boredom and get a total w/o.
