Beans on sonoma
Does anyone know what the serving size is for beans on the sonoma diet? I'm in my 8th week, and loving it, but I don't know how to calculate this for the protien serving. Specifically, I'm wanting to make burritos/nachos with meat and beans but don't want to over-do the serving. Thanks!

Glad you are enoying the program. Since Sonoma doesn't focus on portions sizes, but rather ratios of plate sizes this is going to be something you have to figure out for yourself. I would suggest taking your plate and adding beans tofill 25% of your plate (which is what the protein ratio is on Wave 2) It probably will be about 1/2 to 2/3 of a cup of cooked beans

Sometimes I forget about the plate percentage when I'm combining foods, but that would be the simplest way. Too many years of measuring I guess!

Do you know if you can have fat free refried beans???

I would suggest checking the label to see the ingredients and see if there was anything non sonoma friendly in it. Of course if you make your own, you'll know it's in them
