Default Hello Fellow Sonomans!

Hi all, I'm glad I found you!

I've been following the plan since Monday and have done really well so far. I made my shopping list and shopped on Sunday, then came home and prepared all the marinades and dressings for the week, and I chopped all my veges and portioned them into ziplock bags. That way when i get home from work it's all ready to go. I also made batches of quinoa so it's been really easy as far as preparation and cooking goes. My husband is out of town for the next 3 weeks so it's a good opportunity for me to get into a routine.

So far I've stuck to the meal plan religiously and my clothes are feeling a little looser already so thats a good thing. My problem areas are drinking enough water and also exercising...I need to move all the crap away from the eliptical trainer and the weight machine so that I can actually get to them...thats my project for the weekend!

I hope you're all doing well and staying motivated!

Elizabeth

Welcome Elizabeth. I'm impressed with your organizational skills. I have managed to do some cooking.

I did okay on the weekend but could have done better. I succumbed to the temptation of a chicken cheese steak at a pizza joint yesterday with my husband and stepdaughter. The chicken and tomato sauce were okay, but the cheese most likely had too much fat, and there was too much roll and not whole grain.

I did make a nice salmon dinner last night, with a veggie substitute for my vegetarian husband.

I got a new dog yesterday and have been a little distracted. I plan to get back on track in the next day or two once we get into a routine. It's not a puppy so she is already house broken.
