Default Sonoma Plan and Wine...

I noticed wine is a part of the plan, does anyone here follow that part of the plan? If so, what kinds do you drink?

I have been a delinquent lately but when I am OP yes, I drink the wine. I like pinot grigio, pinot noir, shiraz, and of course, an occasional glass of champagne. It's a matter of personal taste. I buy mine in those little individual bottles since I'm single and don't want to open whole bottles of wine at a time.

If you read bon appetit, this month they have a wonderful article on Burgundy. Now I don't know that much about wines, but I am look forward to the journey. One thing I love about the plan is the fact that it feels indulgant. I mean, wine, fresh med. food...*sigh* this is good! LOL.

I have not drank a lot of pinot grigio, can you recommend a good brand and year?

Like I said, I buy the little individual bottles. I'm certainly not a connesseiur of fine wines. Your selection is limited in those individual bottles but they are practical for me. I happen to like the Cavit Pinot grigio the best of those (a couple other wineries also make individual bottles) but I'm sure there is much better out there. I think Kate is a much more sophisticated wine drinker. Maybe she can give you some guidance.
