Default My Baby Steps

Hello everyone! I just wanted to share some little baby steps that I have begun to take on my road back from binge foods.... One which is peanut butter. I have not been able to have p.b in the house for quite a long time now. Well on Friday I purchased some almond butter. I am so happy to report that I have eaten it in moderation. No grabing the jar and a spoon and sitting in front of the TV and eating stright from the jar! YEAH ME!!!!!

The other accomplishment is I also purchased a bag of those mini sugar free cookies. I have a few servings (1 serving=4 mini cookies) since Friday and I think I will throw the bag away. I don't mean to do a TMI but the type of sugar ach. they use gives me gas. I wish that all of my tempting food gave me gas, so I wouldn't eat it

Last week I did buy a box of the Go Lean cereal and I did sit with the box in front of the telie the night I bought it. Needless to say the next morning I had to throw out the cereal I guess I'm not there yet with the cereal but I am pleased with my baby steps! I just wanted to share something positive on this thread! Take care everyone and best of luck on your journey!

Congratulations! I recently beat an excess peanut-butter addiction through posting on this board. Every once in a while I feel a twinge to go back to the jar, but I've made a commitment to not doing so, so I have not broken it. Like you did, I'm thinking about trying to bring in a new food that I had difficulty with in the past back in my life. This weekend I was thinking about getting a box of 100 calorie pack popcorn. Haven't got the courage up to do so yet...Maybe after Thanksgiving (provided that Thanksgiving goes ok!)

Yes I remember your thread about your p.b demon! Congrats on your commitment to "stay clean". I think it's a good idea about waiting on the popcorn until after the holiday. I like those 100cal packs of popcorn too. My fav is the pop secret 100 cal kettle corn... Good luck Tara D!
