Bouncy!
I too started at 216.I started out journaling & using WALK AWAY THE POUNDS dvds for exercise & now I'm down to 188 & using Turbo Jam for my workouts & STILL journaling!I joined Jenny Craig April 28th & that has helped me A LOT!!!
I highly suggest journaling,WATP dvds & drinking your water(1/2 your body weight) so drink 108 ounces a day!!!

Hi There! I'll be your buddy if u want, I'm 19 (20 on July 16th) and I currently weigh about 240, a bit more than you but we have the same goal weight of 150. I want to reach that weight by my 21st birthday next July. I'm from Canada, and as for a "plan" I'm just trying to eat healthier, and eat less junk and more healthier foods, and eat only when I'm actually hungry and stop when I'm full. For exercise I'm doing Yourself! Fitness for PS2, Stationary Bike, Walking, Strength Training, and I have a couple other DVD's that I can use when I get bored of other stuff! lol

Well let me know if you want to be buddies!

Good for you!!!

Get moving and get putting the right things into your body!!! Everyone has a different approach that works for them . I'm currently eating as cleanly as I can (no processed crap and around 1200 cals a day), walking/running as often as I have time for it, doing Pilates and trying to drink enough water!! It's working for me!!! LOL Keep trying things out until you find something you can stick with! There's no use losing all the weight if you can't continue what you're doing and end up gaining it all back!

Good luck to you!

Way to go, Bouncy, and congratulations on your four pound start! That's great that you went and bought all the healthy foods! I too start my day with the juice of a lemon in hot water... 32 oz of it in fact!

I agree with you about the 10 pound mini goals! That is how I do it, and it is nice when I meet one! I always redecorate my ticker to celebrate. Sure it's something "small" but rewards don't have to be something "big" -- just something to mark our progress!!
