It's been a great birthday so far. We've had so much going on the last few months. I know, I know - Join the club, right? Today, I finally had time to just relax - no appointments, no deadlines, no housework, no nothing. I just puttered around outside watering my flowers, planting stuff, transplanting other stuff, and looking around at our spring garden which is in full bloom. My husband charcoal grilled us some healthy chicken and veggies for lunch. Then we took a nice long walk. We're going to have some barbecued shrimp for dinner with some salad -- and of course a piece of wonderful chocolately birthday cake and a glass or two of red wine. After dinner, we're going to try to make our own candles. We regularly burn candles at dinnertime and so much wax drips off and is wasted. I got tired of throwing it out so for the past year or so I've been collecting the old wax. We're going to melt it tonight and see what we can do with it. It should be fun.
