Default Feeling hung over without drinking

Hi everyone,

Someone posted a transcript with a country singer and larry king. Anyway, she said that she would wake up with that "hung over" feeling without having been drinking.

I rarely drink much (not at all until new year's this year) and i'm 22 and have been legal since 19 since i live in canada.

Does anyone else feel this way?? Is it possible to feel hung over from eating carbs? I know i feel like i'm hung over when i wake up on occasion... but I haven't been drinking. It worries me.

I feel that way if I eat wrong the day before. On my last cheat day, I had McDonald's. The next morning, I felt so sluggish. Makes me think twice about eating.

I usually feel that way when I either over sleep or skip my morning brew. Other than that never unless I actually drink, which is something I should consider giving up for weigh loss purposes.

That's really funny. My professor walked in this morning and said, "I feel hungover and I didn't have a drop to drink yesterday. You ever feel like that?"

I also feel yucky after a cheat day, which usually consists of carbs. A couple of weeks ago I was craving a glass of red wine for some reason and never got around to drinking it, but the next morning I felt like I had a whole bottle. The mind is a powerful thing?

Do you literally feel hungover (headache, upset stomach, etc...) or just sluggish?

Must be in the air. A nurse who advises diabetics where I work said she felt slow and tired today, and I felt like I was half asleep up until lunch. Must be in the air...

I don't know if i've ever been hung over... but it feels the way people who have been hungover talk about it.

Really sluggish, headache, fogginess of head, today i had an upset stomach but thats not usually the case
