Default Vitamuffins: The Verdict Is IN!

Let me just say that I couldn't believe I placed the order Tuesday and they were delivered yesterday!

THEY ARE THE BEST 200 CALORIES I can remember eating... I had the MultiBran which has raisins in it (200 cal, 100% RDA vitamins, zero fat, and 8 gms fiber) and tasted my husband's CranBran. Both had nice flavor, very good texture, and on the whole, were completely and totally tasty.

As I said, I ordered 6 dozen -- 2dz of each of their three flavors... The BlueBran is one I haven't tried yet. I also gave one to a coworker (I brought in 1 dozen to give tastings to my WW meeting tonight because I'm always introducing them to new foods that are nutritious and low points)... and she gave it two thumbs up...

There you have it, gang! Hope you do order them... And, my most heary thank yous to "I'm Losing It" for introducing us to them.

Regards.

Default Ooops!

aHA! I forgot to tell you that -- 4 ounces. And the product labeling says, 1 serving = 1/2 muffin (100 cal, zero fat, 4 fiber). But for 4 ounces (2 servings, one whole muffin) it's 200 cal, same zero fat, 8 fiber, and 3 points.)

I tried these for the first time today. I had ordered them from the website last night but then found out that a local store was carrying them. The store only had the frozen blueberry bran one, so the storeowner was nice enough to warm mine up in the microwave. I thought they were just ok. They reminded me of years ago (now I'm really dating myself!) when we used to make ww muffins out of shredded slices of bread. Perhaps they taste better not warmed and not frozen initially. I did not really find them filling and think for the points, Luna bars have them beat by far. Even though lunas are a half point higher, they are much much more filling. Just my opinion.

yes, but a luna bar is not a muffin -- and it's a totally different taste experience ("Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't)... There are days you just want a muffin, and for the money, the price (and texture) is right. My meeting room gobbled them up.
