stagnation not regression ...
Hi all, thanks for the welcome. I am not actually afraid gaining back what I've lost by regressing in my eating habits. I'm ok with what I eat now and don't fantisize about all the foods I'll eat when I am no longer dieting. I eat what I want, but I just chose to eat an entirely new world of food choices and am amazed sometimes by what I crave now [spicy roasted veggies over cottage cheese] and then [fish and chips and a pint of guiness]. I've got exercise goals I haven't met and some I haven't set yet, if I need a day off, I take one, but I couldn't tell you the last time I took one.
That said, I do need to think about paying attention to what else I can work on to make it through the next stage of my weight loss. I've upped my distance from 3.5 to 5.5 on a good day, but want to get a bit lower before I can up my speed. I walk outside on fairly rugged terain and all the bouncing would kill me. I don't see a lot of "extra" in my diet, or atleast there aren't any more empty calories, but I'm sure if I spent some time analyzing it what goes in I could make a few improvements. Like getting protein for breakfast instead of my dh's wonderful veggie packed low fat muffins.
I'm not on a precipice, just preparing for the next part of the hike.
