Default Trader Joe's Mandarin Chicken...

i had one cup of Trader Joe's Mandarin Chicken last night and I'm wondering how many points it is. TIA!

I looked on a Trader Joe's Point List and I didn't see it on there...

Do you have the packaging...they should have the nutritional info listed there...

Otherwise you will need to utilize a generic Chinese list and those points.

i know, my bf threw out the trash before i could look it up . i had 11 pts. left for dinner, so i'm pretty sure i was within range, because all i had was brown rice and veggies on the side with it... i just wanted to know for future reference.

Default I *think* i figured it out...

1 cup = 1 serving (which is what i had)

cal. = 190 (+20 for sauce)= 210

total fat = 7 g

fiber = 0

so i got about 5

can someone please double check that. it tasted soooo good, so i just wanted to make sure it's really 5 because i will definitely be eating it again if it is....

I don't have a manual slide or points calculator but yeah that looks about right.

Default Trader Joe's Mandarin Chicken

The points work out to 4.52 per cup ...It's worth every point! I had 1/2 cup with 1/3 cup brown rice, and steamed green beans for lunch ...YUMMY!!

That may be the exact based on the formula for points but the Electronic Calculator, Slide Rule and the online one all say 5.

Funny thing about the TJ Mandarin Chicken. I've seen 2 different Nutrition Labels on it. I don't have the bag from the first one any longer, but I put the information into fitday. The information I have for the second one is from the bag I have in the freezer.
#1 Servings per bag 3.5
Calories 270 (don't know if that's with or without sauce)
Fat 10
Fiber 0
Points: 6 (slide rule)

#2 Servings per bag 5
Calories 190 + 20 for sauce = 210
Fat 7
Fiber 0
Points: 5 (slide rule)

I tend to believe that the first one is correct because the amount of servings per bag is correct. Either way, it's fantastic and worth the points.
