Default Playtex Moonwalk- I may have truly lost the plot!

At some point over the last 24 hours I decided it would be fun to join 10,000 women, dressed in bras, walking the London Marathon route (26 miles!) in the dark on May 20th

I've joined up and will really be doing it and now need to get a training plan.

I've figured the bra can be heavily decorated with lots of stomach covering fringing and I obviously will have lost two stone by then!

Has anyone done it/ known any one who's done it (except Nell McAndrew grrr.) and can pass on ant hints/ tips?

Oh I saw a documentary about that with Victoria Wood looked good. I didn't realise it was 26 miles thought it was more of a light stroll!

Thanks for the support girls- I'll let you know how it is (and hopefully my tracker will be on a downward spiral aftre Xmas as I've got a training plan and have to work up to walking 13 miles once a week as well as 3 5 mile walks!)
I wasn't just moaning about the belly either- I amy not weight too much but I'm a 5'2" size 16 so going out in unerwear normally is not an option!
Now just off to practice 'power shopping' (walking v fast between wallis, gap etc...)

Do you have to just wear bra and trackie bottoms or wear bra over clothes?

How long do you think it will take you? I can't do it this year but its something I'm hoping to do next year much more a walker than a runner I did race for life a few years ago and 5k killed me running but I can easily walk a fair few miles but don't want to be the slow coach. Are you doing alot of training?

I believe it's a bra and trackie bottoms- you can wear the bra over a t shirt, but I can't imagine that'll be comfy for the whole 7/8 hours I think it'll take. It'll be VERY heavily decorated with not much skin showing at all!!

I'm not very fit at the moment so I'm following a marathon training plan, and will be walking 15/20 miles per week for the next few months.... At least I'll have a point for all the exercise!

Yeah its def an incentive how many miles an hour are you aiming for? THe site says 5 miles an hour but I'd think thats quite difficult, which training scheme are you doing? Or aren't you following the one on the website? I walk about 4 1/2 to 5 miles a day saves money on buses and I'm nothing like up to that speed I wish I was would be able to get out of bed later.
Mine is all up hill with a huge rucksack though so thats my excuse lol.

Hoping to do 3.5/4 mph but I don't walk at the moment- impressed by your activity though- you'd probably be able to do it no problem!

I was just looking at the training on the site and i walk more than they do for about the first 6 weeks of training can't walk fast though. Its not because I want to be active its through sheer lack of money I think I save myself about £40 a month by walking which pays a weeks rent so its all good. I keep meaning to go to the gym too but that rarely happens thats another one of my resolutions.
