I think it is mainly a name change, and the fact that before, if you could have more than 4 grams fiber to calculate, some obtuse persons might just add sawdust or wood chips to any food they fancy, if you add enough fiber, they reason, you will overcome the fat. Not so, of course. So, fiber was limited to 4 grams. This is more logical. I personally miss the days where you counted breads, proteins, and fats. I lost weight on that system, but I don't remember how many of milk, bread, etc you got to have at my size. I have rebelled against the points and slide ruler. Any one remember the old system?
