Lean Balance

  • Hi
Normally I am not one to be taken by commercials for weight loss pills. Frankly they scare me, and I don't ever believe that they work because if something is so good at helping people lose weight, then everyone in the world who wanted to lose some weight would be taking it (hah, if they worked like people want them to work, i would probably buy them too! lol)
Anyways, i saw a commercial for a new one, Lean Balance, and I was curious why this was supposed to be different. I don't know much about what supplements are supposed to do what for the body or anything like that. But I am curious, and I have seen a million commercials in the last few hours (granted, it is early in the morning and i can't sleep..i think i am the target audience here..hah)
any idea why this is any different, or why it 'should' work over another?
    ty
  • It's different because it's new, and it should work better than others (for the manufacturer anyway) because they'll inundate you with their paid programming commercials in the wee hours of the morning until you buy it and they get richer.
  • Good observation, almostheaven

Yes, they all try to come up with some gimmick or catch phrase to get your attention and make you think they are different. Why do they have to be different? Because we already know that these products don't work. If they DID work, we wouldn't be the fattest nation on the planet When you read the ingredients for Lean Balance, it's just the same old stuff, nothing new at all.

Diet and exercise are the only proven way to lose weight safely and keep it off.
  • Hah....wishful thinking maybe was the only thing that had drawn me to this commercial more than any others. Perhaps I am a bit unmotivated right now because of the diet change and still no weight loss....so I am super drawn toward something telling me that it will help me lose weight better than what i am already doing (and know works) ; )

thanks for the replies and the bump back down to earth : D
  • Found this site searching for feedback on Lean balance. I think all previous posts are true, the only way to safely lose weight is healthy eating and exercise. I have lost 50lbs. over the past three years through controlled eating and exercise; until the last 3 weeks, I have maintained within 3lbs for about six months. I am now up to 9lbs. weight gain and it is because of unbelievable cravings and some overeating. I have felt it coming on for a couple of months and have barely been keeping it under control. I have been either craving protein or sugar all the time. So I feel like my body is missing something in nature but I can't identify it (I am taking acidopholis, calcium, vitamin C and St. Johns wort). I also think that my body is working hard to achieve the weight I used to carry. (I never understood how people could lose a lot of weight then gain it all back - now I do.)
So I need an appetite suppresant until I can identify my deficiency or until the craving passes on its own. I am going to try lean balance. Does anyone know of a safe supplement to suppress appetite that actually works?
    --thanks.
