Default I could use a buddy ...

I've recently made some lifestyle changes for myself and family (husband and 3 young children). We have begun eating mostly fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains, nuts, and a small amount of meat. I have lost about 21 pounds and need to lose at least 48 more. I have also begun to slowly add exercise to my day (this is the hardest part for me). Some days, it is very difficult to not just run to Mickey D's. I have tried every diet in the book in the past, but they have not worked for me. I need a buddy (buddies) of the same mindset to keep each other motivated to stick with this.

Hello Angie - What you describe sounds like Sugar Busters. Try the weekly thread on the Sugar Busters forum, the ladies there are wonderful and you can get ideas for meal planning, recipes, etc. Good luck! -Ruby
