Default Motivate me?

Hey all...
I posted in the buddy board but thought I would also post here. I tried this site for a short time back in Jan/Feb and thought it was helpful but I slacked off...and pretty soon forgot all about it

Anyhow, my weight issues have really hit full force lately and I'm super depressed about it. I'm the highest I've ever been and I'm really noticing the changes in my body and it is bugging me to death.

I'm 26 years old, recently finished graduate school and am 3 weeks away from starting my first teaching job! I'm moving to a great neighborhood that will be good for walking/biking (where I live now is not very safe place to walk) and I do belong to Curves. Right now I'm unemployed as I wait for my job to start, so the last few weeks have been easier to get motivated as far as finding time to exercise - and not having money to eat junk, hehe! But I really need to get into the habits of it all because I know once school starts it will be so difficult.

I'm going to try to keep up with the boards but I wanted to introduce myself (again)! Good luck to everyone and please, motivate me!

Amy

Welcome Back Amy!!!

Coming back to this site is proof enough that you're ready to get back into gear with eating right and exercising. This time of the year is the easiest for me to get motivated with the beautiful weather and the barely there clothes, there's nothing better to inspire me for a walk in the hills with my dogs.

We're all here to give and receive support, so come back often!!
The boards have been pretty quiet lately, most likely due to all of the summer festivities and activities, but I'm sure they'll pick up again soon.

So, welcome back, again!!!

Welcome Amy!!!

I am also 26, and have been very busy with school, so I completely understand where you are coming from. I either have to get up early in the morning, or go late at night to hit the gym or the track. I have finally found a way to make a permanent change by making working out a part of my already busy schedule. Some days it really saves me, it gives me time to myself!!

Good Luck on your weight loss journey!!

Amy!

You can do this! You've already proved that by coming here!

It'll be a little tough at first, but lemme tell ya, once you do see a loss - it'll me the best motivation in the world. Since I've dropped 10 lbs., i'm more focused on this weight loss journey then Ive ever been focused on anything!
