Hi! I'm not positive about the broccoli and cheese sauce, to be honest. I think that if it means you stay on phase 1 and don't get sick of salads then you should eat it. It may not be totally 'legal", but you need to make the plan your own if you are going to stick with it. Make sense?
As for the chicken salad, I wouldn't use storebought unless you know for sure what is in it. It might be fine, but it might have transfats or sugars that are "hidden". You could see if you can find a label and check it out. Good luck!
