State your exercise goal and track it throughout the month with this supportive group of fellow exercisers. We'll compile our workout goals into a list. As each goal is met during the month, it gets turned RED in celebration.
This thread is for fitness and exercise goals. For other weight loss goals, be sure to see our sister thread: September Weight Loss Challenge
I've been doing a wider variety of exercise recently and it's no longer easy to distinguish between cardio, stretching, and strength training. Some of my workouts have two or all three, occasionally at the same time. So, I'm counting exercise minutes in September but not breaking it out into types of exercise.
target:
gym, sailing, walking - 8x total
home workout: daily
I bought myself some weights last month so that I can work out at home as well as at the gym, so I've been doing that for the last few weeks, plus some sit-ups & press-ups(/push-ups), etc. so I've added doing that daily to my target for the month.

I bought a Fitbit and have been having fun figuring it out and using it. I have had it about a week and it shows me on a day I work my steps are in the 6000-7000 range. On my days off, it's been 11000-12000. The average steps per day are 8000. With that said, my goal this month will be to get at least 8000 steps a day.
That's a great goal, loganandlivsmom!
I hope that everyone is off to a good start in September!
