Hey chicks! I'm Keika, and last time I was here, it was 2017, and I lost 57 pounds to get to my goal weight of 145!
And then I moved back to the States (I was living in Japan before), went through huge changes both to my living situation and my emotional state, and I handled it by eating. Again. Fell out of the habit of exercise after going through jet lag coming back, too. I've been casually trying to get back to my maintenance weight for about a year now (after doing a fantastic job of maintaining for a year despite all that!). I just haven't had the motivation to do it for real.
But now I do. You see, I met this amazing guy... and we're getting married on August 22.
I am SO excited!! And now I have a deadline. See, I want to be able to look at my wedding pictures in ten years and go, "Oh, yeah. Look at how HOT I am," instead of, "Oh, yeah. I was going through some emotional changes at the time and ate my way through them." I've been wanting to get healthier again for some time, and this is the perfect reason!
I can do it, too. I have about eleven and a half weeks to lose 18 pounds. That's only about a pound and a half per week. Totally doable! This is going to be great!
So, it's time to get back on the bandwagon! Daily exercise, eight cups of water a day, not taking anything from the snack kitchens at work. I've got this! You've got this! Let's do it!!
