If you want to follow a specific diet, then I suggest the Mediterranean diet.
If you just want a few simple rules to follow, then I recommend avoiding sweets, refined carbs, and deep fried foods. Make sure you eat a lot of vegetables, and eat enough protein and healthy fats.
