Ha! Eat it, plateau!!
Just wanted to put in some motivation for the folks here dealing with a stupid demotivating plateau, because I just lived it for a week and a half (I know that’s not long in the grand scheme of things, but as a daily weigh-er, it was tough for me).
Instead of getting sad and demotivated, I got angry and tried harder. I upped my daily step goal to 14k from 12k, made sure I wasn’t sneaking any sweet snacks without thinking about it, and finally this morning I weighed in two pounds down! Now of course, some of that’s water weight, because nobody loses two pounds overnight, but seeing ANY movement on the scale after being stagnant was so nice.
So I’m here to say: don’t give up!! You are stronger than whatever is holding you back. Renew your commitment, and eventually you’ll succeed!
