Today was insane at work!!! I think there was a full moon during the day. The boys did enjoy the little spread I prepared for them. DS will be here soon. Enjoy the magic of the season!

I have a fridge full of neatly wrapped leftovers, gifts, loads of extra bubbly and two happy but tired dogs. It's a good driving day so i will be off for Christmas lunch an two hours - maybe I can run two loads in the dishwasher before then.

We had a wonderful dinner and gift exchange with my mom and sister last night. Today-just peace and quiet. Kirk pitched in and we got the kitchen all cleaned up and we are going to sit and watch the last three survivor episodes taped. I'm out watching the birds. For us, it will be a good day not to go anywhere.

This will be a quiet day at home with my 3 boys. We have done presents and breakfast quiches, later it will be the roast.

It's been a long time and I miss keeping up with you. Hope you are enjoying some relaxing time with friends and loved ones, including pups

It's been an exhausting year. My Dad died unexpectedly in early September, and we've been getting to Mom's as much as we can. Tim left his exhausting hospital job and is now working in the same school I'm in. That's made life much easier than it would have been. We are at Mom's for a few days enjoying some quiet time together.

Hope you are all well. So happy to see you 4 still hanging in and keeping this forum alive.

Remind me next year not to volunteer for the on call coverage!!! Just when I finally was drifting off to sleep, got the call and needed to respond to an incident in Nassau County. Got home after 2 and up at 7:30. Glad to be relaxing having my last planned indulgence and calling it an early night.
