Good morning, Beachers. Coffee tastes good on this beautiful fall morning even if the temperature is 19ēC! Another beautiful sunrise. I guess this means I can stop trying to bring in the rest of my plants since Jack Frost probably succeeded in knocking them off last night! It seems I just can't let summer go.
Spent most of yesterday thinking of Remembrance/Veterans Day - the ceremony at out Ottawa War Memorial moves me to tears. And then I learned of Leonard Cohen's death so it was a very, very sad day around here. I gave myself a boot in the butt late afternoon and did get a bunch of sheets and blankets to take to the thrift store. Today I will do the same with warm winter clothes since it's going to be very cold soon and the street folks are needy.
Time for another coffee and then I'll decide what to do today. I feel the need to make a hearty soup of some kind, maybe pea or bean if I can find my concentrated stock in the freezer. Jennifer, I do have Karen who likes to cook and we should work out a plan for meals - maybe once a week and alternate the weeks.
Enjoy the start to the weekend and stay save if you are near any of the chaos. Chill out, America!

everyone else! I'd better get a smoothie made. I don't think I have to work tomorrow but it's always subject to change.
