Hi Gang!

Thank You Diana for the thread!

Have been eyeballing calories and portion sizes recently.

Skipped breakfast due to craziness. When we finally ate (on road) ordered two mini Cheeseburgers (still 600 calories!) and Coffee.

Got some Amy's frozen food and have been eating some of those.

Keeping up with Water.

HI Everyone!

My time on here this week and maybe next will be limited to work. The back light on the laptop at home went out last night. So, I can't see anything on the screen. I took it into Best Buy today and that's the diagnosis they gave me. (BTW: I think facebook broke it. ) The laptop is almost 10 years old. So I found what I wanted but this coming week is tax free shopping. I am going to wait until then. I think the tax is close to $100, so I can hold off for that.

I am getting ready to do some cardio as soon as I finish here. ETA: TF Fire 45 for the workout

My weight was unchanged from yesterday.

Take care and I will be back tomorrow.

I've been looking at a few of these and thought I would join in this month

I'm trying to be more disciplined when it comes to being healthy and this may help.

My goal this month is to workout 5-6 times a week for at least 20 minutes. My ultimate goal for this year is to be able to fit into size 12 pants.

I'm going to jump in this month too. Hi All!

I'm Antonia, I'm 30 years old, and this is my second time around with weight loss and 3FC. I lost 65lbs then big family to-do, stress eating, depression, etc and I gained it all back. Now I working my way back down again.

I currently eat low carb, and I also count my calories. Keeping carbs under 25nc (carb-fiber) and keep my calories around 1500 or so. I lift weights 3x per week, using Strong Lifts 5x5 program, and 3x per week I use my water rower. I also try and walk for about 25 minutes during my lunch break M-Th.

I had a cheat weekend. I was sick most of last week, so this weekend I just lounged around, played video games and ate potato chips. But back on the wagon for me today. Drinking lots of water to flush all the salt out of my system, and I'll be doing a lifting workout this afternoon.

So goals. I want to lose 8lbs and complete 1200 minutes of exercise. I'd also like to hit 135 on my squats.

Thank you, once again, Diana for starting this thread...

Funny, you mention fb. I was on years ago and enjoyed it. However, DH's family is quite whacky, and it really got to be an issue. No details needed I deactivated my account and never looked back. Of course the rumors spread amongst the family that I blocked his mom so she couldn't read my posts, which was far from the truth. I no longer had an account! It was major drama. Anyway, I've been busy this past week and a half partnering with a skin care line that I am super excited about. Long story short, they encourage you to use fb for networking. UGH...I broke down and created a NEW fb account (different email address) so started fresh and can pick and choose who my "friends" are. This time, I did "block" certain people. I can't have them rain on my parade, especially when I'm using it for business. (well, personal too...lots of pics of my kiddos!)
July was an odd month as far as being on plan/losing/gaining/getting in daily activity. My dear treadmill took it's last run...we had gotten it for free in April. I got REALLY good use out of it since then, almost daily! I do credit my weightloss partly to the devotion I had with the girl I finally broke down and got a fitbit for DH and I. I went gungho when I first got it...this weekend I didn't even do 5,000 steps on Saturday! I've got to get motivated again.
I've got to do the math with ounces, but I'm down 7-8 pounds for the month of July, which brings me to 47 (and some ounces) down since March. Very pleased!! I'm going to goal myself to get to 229 this month...I would love to see the 20's!!! The last time I was in the 20's was when I was in my sisters wedding in 1999. It'd be a big accomplishment for me considering I started this journey at 284!
Have a great week everyone. I must go back to the July thread and catch up with everyone...Will power to all that need it! (including myself )

Saturdays WI: 134.8
Exercise: 20 Minutes stationary; 20 minutes tredmill; some weightlifting
Calories: 1250

Lost 4 lbs of water weight since doing the fasting. Did not do it over the weekend which is my biggest problem. If I could get my weekends under control I'll be losing again but until then I will gain - lose - gain -lose. It's getting aggravating with my lack of self control.

Besides that my little boy's kindergarten screening is tonight. I'm a ball of nerves. :/ Also football and cheerleading start up next week for us. I had a small break

Hello Again,

I am checking into to the August accountability group! July was good until the last few days. I started out guns blazing and then lost all control. I am hoping August will be my month! This time around, I need to remain motivated and remember why I am doing this. My goal for August is to lose 11 pounds. I would like to go from 206 to 195. This will accomplish three of my goals: getting into the 100s, getting out of the obese BMI range, and my half way mark of 50 pounds out of 100.

If anybody has any suggestions as to how I can achieve my goal, please let me know!

Thanks!!

so I forgot it was August and posted in July! duh. I've copied it...
hi all!

I'm sorry I've been MIA again - we are going in to our yearly audit at work and it's been crazy! I'm not 100% recovered from being sick, either, but I DID ride 21 miles on Friday and hiked 3 miles yesterday. I didn't weigh this morning because I did have quite a few drinks this weekend. I'll weigh tomorrow and go from there. My eating has been okay.

b - greek yogurt/walnuts
l - kale salad/rotisserie chicken
s - heath cookie (the head chef for one of our catering companies here makes the best ever! He brought me some today)
d - tbd

exercise - tbd

Default August 1st

Today wasn't the greatest but it was better than the past few days. I worked out, got in my 10,000 steps and only ate 877 calories (slept in today so skipped breakfast), but half these calories were from a donair brute I had for dinner :/ Tomorrow I am going full force into the 21 day fix plan with the containers and the workouts. Hopefully I see some results as my next weigh in is on Saturday and I'm so close to getting out of the 200s!!!
