I started my weight loss journey in December after my annual doctor's appointment. I got a little shock, when my doctor told me that I was officially on the obese side of the scale. I was 178 pounds, that's bigger than I was at my largest while pregnant!
I cried most of the drive to work and downed my sorrows in a Diet Dr. Pepper. The next morning I decided to make a change. I started watching my calories and portion sizes I cut my carbs and upped my protein. I dropped a 11 pounds that first month. In January, I decided to start running and by the end of the month had hired a running coach to help me train to run a 10K by the end of the June.
To date, I'm down 44.3 pounds, I've gone from a size 14/15 pants to sizes 4/6. My shirts have gone from Extra Large to a Medium.
I'm looking for some support as I make my way to my goal and help me stay on track.
