Charity bake sale

  • So, having recently had some bad news about a friend at work, myself and a colleague are undertaking the macmillan big coffee morning.

I haven't baked in a while so i'm nervous about people eating things so i'm practising 5 recipes.
I did one the other day for biscuits and had 1 and took the rest into work for people to try.
Now tonight i'm baking a cake but the dieters at work were moaning about the biscuits and how they were making them fat so i dont feel i can take the cake in to work after i've tried it to make sure its edible.
What else can i do with it? Do you think my neighbours would think it weird if i gave them all some?

I really did used to enjoy baking and have loved doing it again but i cant eat it cause ill get fat.
I have been looking for ages for a hobby and now my man has seen how happy and excited this charity coffee morning has gotten me he has suggested i do it more - baking and raising money.

i dont actually really know what if anything im asking you guys but.... any thoughts? ideas?
  • Baking for charity is a wonderful thing to do. There are many charity bake sales that you can become a part of. Also you can sometimes bake for local shelters. Just call around in your community.
  • anyone have any low calorie cake recipes?
