This time I'm gonna lose the weight!
First post here.
I've been heavy most of my adult life. Most of the time in the 240-250 lb range. However, as I entered my 40s my metabolism slowed down and at the same time I took a desk job and have ballooned to over 400 lbs.
April 17th I started the Ideal Protein diet and as of my weigh-in last Friday, I've lost 39.6 lbs. A promising start, but I've got a long way to go!
The good thing is that I don't find the IP protocol to be difficult to follow. I'm trying to cut some costs so I'm trying some non-IP foods that fall within the IP guidelines. Hopefully I'll find some good tips here, and some yummy recipes.
