Hi, everyone! I'm new here, and ready for a fresh start on the weight-loss journey. I'm 28 and have been on the heavier side for a lot of my life. It's gotten out of control to the point where I ballooned up to 269 lbs, which was my highest weight ever. I'm disappointed in myself for letting my weight get that high. It's affecting me to the point where my feet have been hurting pretty bad at times, and this had been going on for over a year now. I work part time as a cashier, so it makes that more challenging.
I've taken some baby steps in getting back in the figurative saddle, namely challenging myelf to abstain from soda (which hasn't been too much of a problem for me) and fast food. I started that last week and have lost about 4 pounds so far. It was 7 a few days ago, but I've gained 3 lbs back since then. I know I have a long way to go here, but the fact I've lost anything is a start.
I look toward to the support and getting to know everyone! I'll end this post with saying good night for now!

Good luck with your efforts!!
