S/C/G: 130/118/under 120

Height: 5'5"

Default Impressed by all of you

I have been obsessed with health and nutrition from around age 13 and have been working out from the time I was old enough to get a gym membership. I have never been on a diet, but I constantly evaluate the newest and latest advances in nutrition to become a healthier person.

When I was younger, I was an overweight kid. At 12, I remember wearing a women's size 14 or 16. The other kids teased me to no end. Somehow, in seventh grade I remember going to my first concert and wearing jeans, cowboy boots, and a jacket, getting on a scale, and I was 109. I wore size zero until I hit 17 and went on hormones (for migraines, birth control pills). I weighed 130 no matter what I did after that. I have changed my diet a bit and am around 123-125 now. Weight has been a lifelong obsession since I have been on the other side. Both of my parents have Type 2 diabetes and are both significantly overweight.

The stories here are so impressive. The persistence and willingness to leave your comfort zone is commendable. I hope to learn from you and help when I can.

Welcome Jenn! What can I say, some of us would love to have your stats (you're feathier than the featherweights!) right now! But you have a good motivation - your parents - to keep eating healthy! Glad you joined us!
