I joined on Oct. 30 for the same reason. I haven't been able to get back on track or motivated since my diagnosis of hypothyroid 2 years ago. When my thyroid levels were back to normal, I was just so out of shape and lazy. I kept trying to start an exercise program, but I kept giving up. So I joined because I thought being accountable would help, you know? Just coming here and not only admitting or sharing what I'm doing, but being able to see the progress and getting encouraged by everyone else.
I kid you not! This is the first time I have been able to stick with a regular exercise program in 2 years. I have been exercising every "weekday" since I joined. I'm also eating healthier and a few less calories each day to help with weight loss. I've lost 2 lbs. I'm trying to focus on "slow and steady" like the turtle, because I know if I lose it slow by changing my behaviors, it will stick!
