One Week Tracking Challenge

  • This is a thread for a one week Tracking Challenge!

    I dislike tracking everything I eat, but I cannot deny the wake up call that I always get when a taste of this, a portion of that, the weight of something all get marked down.

    So for this week, I'm tracking.

    Personally, I'm just going to commit to listing every food I eat - I might weigh and measure some of them, but I also might not...

    I'm also going to try to post planned food vs actual food, as this is an area I've struggled a bit with recently (not planning well - I don't actually care if I follow the plan closely, it's the act of planning that helps me!)

    L : bone broth soup, crackslaw (4oz meat), 125g ricotta
    D : pork tenderloin, onions, sauerkraut (not a good mix!), 2 squares 85% chocolate, a few small handfuls sunflower seeds

    L : crackslaw, 65g ricotta, sunflower seeds, cottage cheese
    D : taco salad (pork carnitas) w cheddar, yogurt, pico, cabbage slaw
  • Sarah.. It is great to see your posts! I will do this tracking right after Thanksgiving if you wish to do it again!
  • Great Sue - I'm not doing much for thanksgiving this year, but doing it again will no doubt be a good thing

    B : coffee w 1 1/2 T cream, meatballs (4oz)
    L : crackslaw tea a 1 1/2T cream
    D : bone broth soup, green beans w butter, 2 hard boiled eggs, a hunk of goat cheese, a few bites of leftover pork, 60g ricotta w 1T cream, 2 small squares 85% chocolate. (Planned dinner moved to tomorrow)

    I was really wanting a snack in the late afternoon (lunch was on he light side) but I made some tea and drank more water, and half an hour later all thoughts of food were gone

    L : crackslaw (6oz meat), 85% chocolate, sunflower seeds
    D : veal cutlets w np mushrooms & cream, green beans, goat cheese, 85% chocolate (1 square while everyone else had dessert - not bad!)
    S : bone broth soup & 1 meatball

    Will likely have the soup as a snack, as my kids eat early and tonight we are eating late, so I'll eat the soup w the kids to tide me over...

  • I forgot to track over the weekend, but still ate well.
