    Welcome to the 6th and Final Challenge in the year long Make 2014 Your Goal Year Challenge!

    Weigh in is on Wednesdays to coincide with New Year's Eve, but whenever you'd like to weigh in is fine. You also don't need to do the spreadsheet if you don't want to. Feel free to jump in even if you haven't done the previous challenges. Everyone is welcome!

    Here is the link to the spreadsheet

    The Challenge 6 tab is now ready if you'd like to enter your name, starting weight, and goal. I don't have mad spreadsheet skills, so we'll need to update the weight lost or gained column manually. ( Or if someone knows how to do this, feel free to edit the sheet. )

  • New challenge, new goal, renewed focus!

    Initially, I had thought it would be so cool to reach goal by New Year's Day! But let's be honest, it would be really cool on paper, and not so fun to actually live out. 23 pounds in two months, two HOLIDAY months, yeesh. That's okay. I'm gonna go for 150, leaving me just 10 more pounds until goal. I am so excited to hit the refresh button after the rocky month I just had!

    My goal for Challenge 6 will be to reach: 200 lbs (lose 4#)

    My goal is to start the new year off no heavier than 235.0. That's 9.4 lbs, amid multiple Holiday gatherings. Not as easy as it may sound. I would LOVE to in the 220's, but I don't see that happening!

    Well, it's hard to believe we're heading down the home stretch. I'm excited for this holiday season. I'm looking forward to not only enjoying everything that comes with the holiday season, but to not feeling any of the guilt of gaining weight.

    Everyone here has a great attitude about making progress through the holidays. It's good to keep your eyes on the prize while being kind to yourself and not setting unrealistic expectations.

  • I was really hoping to lose 25-27 pounds this year... so far only about 6-10. I know I can not pull off nearly a 20 pound loss in two months, but I will do my best and get as low as I can!
