Has anyone heard of the health conscious wristband, Pavlok? Supposedly it helps you break your goals into manageable tiny habits (i.e. going to the gym) and keeps you accountable to building them. I want to try it out. It sounds interesting!

I've heard of it. Personally wouldn't try it though. I'm not really a fan of causing myself physical pain (which is what the shock is suppose to do, albeit minor) to change habits. I can see where some people may feel that necessary, and as long as it's not causing huge damage and physical harm, I don't really see a problem with it.

No thank you. Stepping on the scale is enough of a shock to keep me on track

According to the company, it can deliver up to 340v of electricity. They said this is comparable to touching a metal doorknob and getting a static shock. That's not fun Personally, I'm not a big fan of negative reinforcement.

Why not just snap a rubber band on your wrist instead?
