Hello...

  • Hello, to each of you. I would like to start off by saying how glad I am to have found this site and I look forward to gaining support for my weight loss journey. I am a FT wife and mother of one. I am needing to lose 50 lbs and as many here, I have tried every diet under the sun. The support I'm seeking is huge and I'm confident that this site will provide that for me. I look forward to meeting many of you here. Have a blessed week.

    I think that it's incredibly helpful to get plugged in to a particular forum and make it home.
  • Welcome and congrats on taking the first step! I have been on and off, on and off again and here I ended up 5 days ago and I'm so glad I did. I have had some temptations but mostly stuck to it and I've already lost 4 lbs. The help from everyone on here is amazing when you feel alone and in a rut.


  • The basics of losing weight are to lower your calorie intake and to exercise 3-5 times a week. It all depends on what type of diet suits you so check the forum for a diet plan that you might like to follow. I find that doing my own thing suits me, and you may find that too.
