    I'm new here, hahah. Glad I found this site so early on in my diet, too!
    Name's Marie; I'm fifteen and I've always been pretty fluffy, if I do say so myself. Of course, I don't find that a problem. I'm fine with my curves, and I personally don't find the whole "anorexic model" look very attractive. On the other hand, both the absolute lack of exercise in my life and unhealthy eating tendencies have gotten the better of me, and I'd like to do this for the health benefits as much as the chub loss itself.
    I'm 5'4. I weighed in on Friday (the start of my diet) and the scale read 179.2 lbs-- I want to lose 30.
    I'm super excited for this (let's see how long that'll last) and am thankful for finding such a lovely site so early on in this journey. Wish me luck! c:

  • Welcome and Congrats on making the decision to seek a healthier lifestyle. Instead of just dieting, try to find some areas where you can make lifestyle changes for your future so that you will keep that healthy body and not become a yo-yo dieter as they tend to lose then gain even more then lose and so on and so forth. It is a never ending cycle. Have you made any exercise plans? If you have a Y, maybe they offer some choices that will inspire you. If not, find something you enjoy as you will stick with it if you like doing it.
