  • I had hit a plateau, and was not losing any weight. In fact, I gained 7 pounds last month. I've lost all but one pound of it now. However, I was looking through old pictures last night and I realized how far I have come, and that I would never want to go through the feeling of being as big as I was again. So, today I am sharing this photo with y'all to let you know that no matter where you are, know that any and every goal is attainable if you believe in yourself and are patient! The first picture was taken 2.10.2012 and the second was 01.30.2012. Almost a years difference, but I did not start losing until July. So, keep on doing a good job, even if you hit a bump in the road..you'll get back on track!

  • Nice! Maybe it's hard to tell because you're wearing loose clothing, but i don't think you look like you're 187. I'm also 5'7" and i think you look similar or smaller than me (i'm around 160). Anyway, good luck and keep going!!
  • Pictures tell the story! Congratulations on your journey and your determination
  • I have been taking photos of myself half naked to see the difference along the way. Lol. I freak out every time I think I have lost my phone but get some reminders of my losses. Congrats u look great!
  • wow what inspiration!
  • Great job on sticking with it!! I'm rarely on that side of the camera, but I'll remember what you said Thanks for posting this, and congratulations on persevering with it. You look great!
  • Congrats!!!
  • Well said!!! And great job.

I have a "history" of being able to get down to around 230 and getting totally stuck. So often that is when I have given up and started gaining it all back again,

So here I am again... at a two month plateau stuck at just the same place as usual. Except this time I am not giving up and planning to hang right on in here!!!
  • Oh yeah, you keep going! You look so much fitter and I think happier in the 2nd photo.

And you forgot a WINNER she is holding a trophy And its deserved congrats
  • Thanks for sharing. I feel "okay" and have been tempted to stop since I keep cheating on weekends, doing great during the week, and thus staying exactly the same. My husband wants me to stop but I want to reach goal. I do feel so much happier and healthier. And you served as motivation. Thanks! I am extra motivated to stay on track now.
  • Congrats! You are an inspiration to me to exercise...i needed it!
  • Thank you everyone...your comments mean so much! As for being a winner, I feel like one fore sure but that trophy is mine from 1998. My 3 year old has been carrying it around You all have been inspiration for me
  • What a difference!
  • I joined 1/24/13 and as of today I have lost 7lbs, I would love to have a huge difference. Water weight excetera, I feel like I'm stuck but I've made huge improvements to my diet and my family as well. I read all the posts and I know I am not alone, and believe me it helps.
