Talking Thanksgiving Day Parade!!

This is kinda random but I'm super excited for this!! My boyfriend today told me that he is off on Thanksgiving and the day after which means...

WE ARE GOING TO THE MACY's THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE!!!! WHOOOTTT!!

Last time we went he just got out of boot camp and we saw next to nothing. So now 5 years later we're gunna do it right!! Were leaving at 4am to get a great spot and we have those camping chairs and YAY!!!!!!!!

I'm so excited.

I love that parade... I grew up a few blocks from where the parade kicks off... So we would go over and see them blowing up the floats which I always thought was so cool when I was a kid... And of course we would go over and watch it as well... Lots of great memories... My Mom grew up in that neighborhood too, so she has lots of great memories of getting dragged there with all her brothers and sisters by my Grandmother as well... Haven't been to it in awhile... but I'll definitely be watching at home with Mom to reminisce...

I lived so close for years and I never actually saw the parade up close. It was usually just on TV or like from a block away because I didnt want to fight the crowd.

lol, I went one year probably when I was about 13. I remember being cold and having to pee, that's about it.

It was pretty fair weather this year though..hope you had a great time!
