Default Little goal but excited!

I began my weight loss back in Feb of this year. I have fibromyaglia so I have to take it slow. I am now able to jog for 7 mins in my walking routine, (about 1.5-2miles) I am so excited! I know 7 mins doesn't sound like much, but when you jog it, it is long!! lol I couldn't do 1 minute hardly, then I went to 3.5. Now I doubled it. I wanna keep going! I just have to take it slow. Baby steps! My goal is to jog one mile!

That is a great goal! And believe, I know where you are starting from. I've been there before (and frankly it's been so long since I've ran that I'm probably there again!). You're doing it right by going slow. Keep it up and you will get there in no time.
Congrats on being so close!

7 minutes doesn't sound much to an individual or an athlete who is very active, but for common people, 7 minutes of jogging would be an achievement. It is good you do it slowly, the slower the better for our body, we could increase our goal as the time pass by, I know you can do it, we humans are intelligent and we have many ways how to overcome our limitations.

Thedollylala,

No, just basically adding a min or two on my time. I will probably do 7 mins for this week and next week then increase it. With fibromyalgia you have to take it slower than most people.

Thanks to you others for your support.
