Hey everyone. Im 23 with my 24th birthday approaching and I have come to the reality that I need to get on track with keeping myself healthy. im currently 227 pds and not happy with those numbers at all .I hope this site will help me be more motivated as well as learn some new things from all of you.....

Good advice from gatorgirl there. Just make changes and NEVER give them up and that's basically the only way to lose weight. That's also why they need to be realistic changes; if you were to do two hours of exercise a day and only eat salad then you couldn't stick to that forever and you would put on weight as soon as you stopped. Maybe try cutting out all drinks except water to start with, that really helped me when I lost weight a few years ago!

Hi, Im in exactly the same position. I am 23, 24 in January and I've had enough of hovering around the same weight and making excuses.

I need motivation. I am currently calorie counting and feel like I've done every diet available.

Hope to hear form others soon x
