Here I am! Still here. Still sticking with things.

It's a clear Monday morning, so I'm hoping to make the most of it.

I need to go out food shopping. Though, honestly, I should plan my dinners for the week first. It always helps out when I know what I'm going to do for dinner. No hemming and hawing at dinner time.

Ah well, for now it's just going along. Here's to a new week, and some good progress!

Crud!!! I was not a very good girl over the weekend. Did very well out with friends on Friday night...a couple of Miller 64s and had a only couple bites of appetizers. Saturday we had family over and drank a few more beers, then out to eat yesterday at Bella Milanos (some of the best Italian food ever). Of course I chose the worst dish for me, spaghetti carbonara. I did however, cut the dish in half right away and put it in a container for hubby to take to lunch one day this week. But, I know there were enought points for a week in that half a plate! Well, only 1 pound lost, but that's better than gaining, I guess. Back to it!
Thanks everyone for the encouraging words and good luck to you all today. Goal for today...excercise now that the temperatures have dropped, 64 ounces of water and a positive attitude.

Thank you Lovely for starting the new week!

We had a family get together/party on Saturday for a family friend that was up visiting from North Carolina and I actually had some Smirnoff Ices. This was the first time that I drank alcohol in a while and boy was I feeling it!!! I was so dehydrated throughout the night though that I woke up at like 5am with a charlie horse and a random thing where my big toe froze all curled up. It was the weirdest and most painful thing!! haha

But I am back down a bit after that splurge and I am looking forward to going down a bit more! Zumba starts up again tomorrow after last week off for the holiday and I can't wait! I'm so excited I missed it last week!

I am hopefully over my sugar binge! I could not stop eating goodies no matter what. It was crazy bad...but I haven't been as hungry so far this week and have been craving fruit more than anything else. It's a trend that I'll take!

Default Last week was HARD

I finally got it together by Friday. I am tracking every day, and trying to exercise of some sort. I may try to hit a meeting today. Have been taking advantage of our Farmers Market bounty. So, I am not hitting all of my goals, I am hitting the exercise and tracking goals and believe I will move to a better loss in the weeks ahead.

Have a great day.

Did fairly well yesterday. Dinner was a bit off because my hubby brought home 3 ribeye steaks. They were pretty big, but I cut mine in half. The steak put me over on points, but I made grilled veggies and asparagus as a side, so I didn't got over too much. I did get my butt out and moving for a 40 minute walk last night. I've got to get some good walking shoes. I have one pair that I can walk in and my feet feel fine when I get home, but the new pair prevent my feet from moving naturally and I ended up with cramps in my feet during the night. Ouch!!! I am working from home most of the day, so I had best go and get things started. Have a great day everyone!

Puffy - Congrats on getting your hubby on the bandwagon with you!! I imagine that will make dieting so much easier.
Pricess - I love this time of year. Fresh veggies and fruits taste soooo good!
Chele - I did a Zumba class last winter. Unfortunately they don't start back up around here until fall.

Well I lost some today and it is now my TOM, so the next few days might be wonky, but I am still encouraged by a drop

Yay, Puffy, for the loss! Also wonderful to hear your husband being on the bandwagon with you. That will sure help a lot!

Boatingmommy- Totally happy about having a break from the 100+ weather and the rain too!! Those ribeyes sound so GOOD. I haven't had that for a while, I will have to get some this week. Love it with a baked potato with some roasted cauliflower/bacon/sour cream or greek yogurt mixture on top and of course, an ear of corn!

Princess- I hear ya. Last week was HARD for me as well. Like you, I expect better losses since no more holidays or anything like that until what, September's labor day? That will help a lot, for sure.

Chele- Zumba sounds like fun! I want to try that sometime when I'm able to exercise. Fruit is definitely a better way to get your sugar fix. I made a peach-blueberry sorbet with 100% apple juice then mixed a little less than 2 tbsp of prepared dream whip since it was sweet enough already, man that was GOOD and sort of made it like ice cream or something.
__________________________________________________ ______________________
I was OP last night- made chicken enchiladas but sort of lasagna style, layering with chicken sauce mixture and corn tortillas since I accidentally overprocessed the chicken while trying to chop it up in chunks in the food processor along with the green chile sauce.

We already put up the Christmas tree at my dad's clubhouse yesterday. It's a thing we always do for my dad in July, he LOVES Christmas. Today, we will be decorating it. It is an all day event since the tree is tall and huge. That will be part of my exercise since we will be going up and down on the ladder, haha. I will post pictures when it is done.

I also got some really sad news yesterday, we are in the process of buying a house and we recently found out one of the owners (wife/mother) recently fell in a coma after going to the ER last Saturday for severe headaches and then being diagnosed with a brain tumor. She fell in a coma during/after operating on the brain tumor. While I feel horrible for everyone especially the kids! I can't help but worry if we are still going to get the house or not because we already packed and told the landlord we are moving out. Stupid, I know. I am just praying that she wakes up and makes a full recovery.

Hope everyone else has a good day.

Amandie - sorry to hear that your life is kind of on hold indeffinitly. That's terrible for both your family, and hers.
Puffy - I'm with you...any loss is a good loss, and man...TOM sucks!!! We all gotta deal with it.

I just came back from a good walk. About 55 minutes full steam around the town (our town is not very big) and then out to the park, around the track and then home. Felt good, but it's been half an hour since I got home and I'm still red faced and sweating. Stayed OP today, and now that I'm sweating to death, I'm downing the water. Have a great night, everyone!

I have not been tracking or going to the gym, this is like week 3. But this morning was a wake up call.

I am going to put my tracker to the correct number then going forward it is all journal journal journal.

Good for you, Nancy! Not tracking is what gets me in big trouble.

Saw 178-something this morning! Very happy. I made a yummy veggie lasagna tonight, I think it was the best I ever made because of the sauce. I used a medium sized can of whole peeled tomatoes in juice with a small can of tomato paste and italian seasoning/salt,etc then pureed the whole thing in the food processor. I also added a skillet full of roasted garlic, mushrooms, green peppers and zucchinis (with a little bit of liquid smoke to give it that grilled smoky flavor) to the food processor and pulsed until mostly smooth. That's it. So good!

A little bit of good news- the owner's wife has woken up and is doing better so plans are still on for us to move to our new house at the end of this month. So happy she is doing better. Whew!

My first week back on ww has felt good! Eating a lot of fruits and veggies (along with other good stuff) and
I have exercised at least an hour every day...just one has included weight training so i will need to lift weights on Friday and Sunday to meet my goal of 3 days per week. I have been eating all my activity points, so we will see how this works out on the scale and make adjustments if necessary!

Hope everyone has a good week and keeps up the good work!

Quick vent/ victory combo.

Hubby went and bought donuts last night for the "kids" full well knowing that it is by far one of the hardest Foods for me to be around. I wanted one soo bad last night but I had a WW I cream snack instead and just went to bed!

This morning I cut them up to feed the twins and did not even lick my fingers. Managed to individually feed the, both pieces and did not eat any. Not even a lick! It might not seem like a big deal but to me this is MAJOR!

Now if only I could get my hubby to stop being a dumb a**! god love him.
