    Did your rinse the quinoa well before you cooked it? If you don't, it will have a bitter taste. Try making it with chicken or veggie stock instead of water - like rice it will absorb the flavour of the stock.
  • Cereal and milk! I need something cold after a run!
  • Romaine lettuce, mix of peppers, radishes, lite caesar dressing, a sprinkle of bacon bits (real) and two hard boiled eggs still left from easter. My dessert was a tablespoon of peanut butter. My salad was huge. I ate an entire salad serving bowl of salad. Me likely salads in spring/summer!
  • It's pizza night here. Thin crust veggie with red sauce.
  • I had leftovers. My own, lower fat versions of chana masala and curried spinach with evaporated milk rather than cream and 1/2 cup basmati rice.
  • The breast from a whole chicken I oven roasted but gave the skin to DH. I had potatos and carrots with it. Yum. Then a sliver of cheesecake and a cup of tea at my sister's place.
  • Black bean, zucchini, and olive tacos (and a bowl of strawberries)
  • Baked chicken, asparagus & green squash mix and whole wheat pasta. Portion control of course!
    Oh and a glass of wine, only 4 oz though.
  • Turkey sandwich (no mayo, just lettuce, tomato, cheese, and some mustard) and a caesar salad (with only half the dressing/croutons they come with).. Was a 700 calorie meal buuut I only had a smoothie and a snack earlier so I'm good still
