It's first light out there and another rainy day. I was to collect "samples" to take to the vet appointment at 8:30 but do not intend to go out and slosh around after two dogs! The appointment is just for their yearly shots and bloodwork to check for heartworm. They'll also check Disney's blood for creatinine to see how her kidney problem is doing. So far she is on her usual diet but I may have to change that. I see myself going back to making my own dog food.
Did some work on the nine-patch quilt yesterday and discovered a block that was assembled wrong!
I am debating whether to fix it or ignore it. Fixing it means ripping out the quilting already done in that area so I am leaning toward ignoring it. I still don't know how I missed it. Four other women pinned it together for quilting and they missed it too. Most puzzling! I may be able to make a corrected block and stitch it over the goofed up one rather than pick out the machine quilting. Just venting a bit! The dogs don't understand but any of you who quilt will understand the gobbledegook.
My car guy called yesterday to say he has found my new car and will get me set up to see it later this week. I still haven't got the plates from the old one (and the Mill office keys I left in it) so will try to get that done this morning when I'm done at the vet. Sometimes I wish I had a husband again but the thought is fleeting!
Time for another coffee and an attitude adjustment. Come and join me - in the coffee, I mean!

But then I head to work for several hours late afternoon and evening so my zen will be fleeting. I'm going to make some of the better-than-tuna-salad for dinner tonight and to take on my road trip for meals in the car. (No heating needed, no smell, yumminess.) I am supposed to skype with DH1 about apartments we'll see this week and then later with DH2 to help him with a cover letter (for a summer job application).
to everyone else
I tried for almost 2 hours to get in here this morning, but I couldn't get into the site. I couldn't access Facebook, either.
Oh, well, it seems all is well now.
