Has anyone had any weight loss success with a high dose of Vitamin D3?
My doctor currently has me on 50,000 IU's of vitamin D. I take this 2x a week. I have one week left of this high dose and then I'll switch to a daily dose of 1,000 IU's.
I started this high dosage shortly before I started paying attention to calorie intake and making more of an effort to get to the gym. Not sure if it is helping but it sure isn't hurting me get to my goals.
Weight loss requires changing what you eat. (Eating less, eating better, some combination of both.) And exercise helps. And addressing underlying medical issues - like a Vitamin D deficiency - helps your body work the way it naturally wants to. But it alone won't make you lose weight.
