  • Hi ladies! Hope you guys are enjoying the weather (whereever u reside) SO I havent came onto 3FC for about 2 weeks. Both weeks I gained.. I cant do it without you guys!

    So in the thread (im not sure if im allowed to do this) but im setting a goal for myself to lose 15 lbs by april 20th. I think that if i have my own thread on it, ill actually get it done (held accountable hehe). I am doing a juice fast once a week, eating low carb, low cal. I am young (20 y/o) so I know I can do this although I know its not typically healthy. Im motivated and I want to challenge my body for the next ~ 32 days. 32 days, 15 lbs. I can do this. Will be posting daily with my meals, progress, and hopefully some of you will join me along in my journey. Ready, set, lose!

  • Okay so day 1. Let me post my starting pics Took em in the bathroom.. lol

    My stats :

    187 pounds, 20 yo, low carb diet, 5'8 feet tall.










    Today:

    Workout - 60 min hip hop class, 30 mins hot yoga

    Preworkout- 1 medium banana
    Breakfast- Scrambled eggs with fresh tomato salsa and low fat mozarella
    Post workout- Fresh squeezed carrot juice, with squeeze of orange
    Lunch- 1 fillet of tilapia with fresh salsa
    Dinner- 1 chicken breast, with pasta sauce on top w/mozzarella cheese
    Snack- Grande iced coffee frm sbux, 4 splendas extra cream.

    Water- 2 L

    Today..

    Breakfast- Greek yogurt

    Lunch/dinner- 6 pieces of sushi

    Snack- slight indulgence - small cup of cherry garcia..

    On the up side, I weighed in at 186 today Down one pound, 14 more to go. Im heading out to the gym right now, lets see what I can do to burn off those extra calories from the cherry garcia.
  • Today... was a wonderful day!

    Breakfast- Omelet w/tomatoes and low fat mozarella

    Post workout snack- apple

    Lunch/dinner- 1/4 of a chopped salad from kona grill, couple bites of red velvet, couple small bites brownie..

    Snack- string cheese, coffee with 4 splendas and cream.

    I know it sounds like i ate alot.. but portions were pretty small for everything.

    Ran 1.2 miles, some biking, and some strength training.

    weighed in at 185 today and thats WITH TOM. So woot!
  • Great day today.. woke up motivated as ever. I weighed in at 184.2.. wow. So in the duration of about 3 days Ive lost almost 4 lbs. Im on my way Although thru my posts, it doesnt look like im doing anything intense, but im eating alot less, and constant and i mean CONSTANTLY moving.I drink unimaginable amounts of water and I eat >50gs of carbs. My body is heavily carb sensitive, so when I dont eat carbs, my body naturally responds to lose the weight. I truly believe that Im naturally supposed to be skinny, but carbs are holding me back. So here we go,

    Breakfast- Chicken chopped salad

    Lunch/Snack- Fresh green juice: 2 carrots, 1 cucumber, 1 apple, squeeze of lemon.

    Snack- 1 oat n honey bar, 1 string cheese, 5 jelly beans, 1 petit choc cracker, few choco chip goldfish.

    Dinner- Chicken salad (mayo kind) , 1 greek yogurt (oikos peach)

    Workout- n/a

    Water- 2 bottles.

    NSV (03/22/12) - I can see my back dimples!

    11 pounds-- 27 days. EXCITEEED.

    Quick note on green juice: It is SO beneficial for you, fresh, and boosts energy. I drink green juice at least 3x a week. One day its just carrot and orange (treat for me!) Rest of the days I have to add a couple green items, kale is my favorite, along with cucumber, celery, or spinach. Its so so so simple, and so refreshing.. and amount of nutrients ur consuming is crazy. Try it, it tastes AMAZING.. I mean srsly amazing, and it helps with skin, nails, etc etc and ofc weight loss/detox.

    Current fav recipe: (VERY easy, minimal ingredients)

    2 juicy carrots
    1 cucumber
    1 apple
    squeeze of lemon.

    If veggies/fruit is juicy, it yields alot more juice. Does depend on the juicer as well. I got mine from Walmart for $50, (PM for details) AMAZING juicer. Anyways good luck ladies, I do highly recommend juicing.
  • Hey everyone.. Keeping this post short bc im in the hospital, granny is there.

    So:

    Breakfast : bacon egg n cheese biscuit no bacon, cheerios (small amt) n milk

    Lunch: 3 boiled eggs

    Snack : cheese stick n greek yogurt

    Dinner- chicken caesar salad & Iced coffee w/sugar free vanilla

    Workout- 1 mile run, 15 mins dance
  • Guess what ladies, weighed in at 183 today Exactly 5 days from my journey, Ive lost ~5lbs. woohoo.. let me just say, "results arent typical" my diet consists of super small meals, and lots of activity (which isnt logged in posts above)

    Okay so today:

    Breakfast- Greek yogurt, string cheese

    Lunch- Tilapia w/broccoli and cheese

    Snack- Iced coffee with sugar free vanilla

    Dinner- Chicken salad w/avocado ranch dressing.. probably my biggest meal in the past week.

    Not workin out today.
  • Okay so today looks a bit like this :

    Breakfast- 1 string cheese, 1 greek yogurt

    Lunch- Rice and lentils w/some potatoes.. small portion

    Snack- Some teddy grahams & iced coffee with sugar free vanilla

    Dinner- Turkey sandwich on wheat w/ mayo, a small handful of bbq chips, 2 % milk.

    And on the low end of 183 today so I am anticipating to see 182 on the scale tommorow Good night all
  • So as anticipated I did see 182 on the scale today.. woohoo! 9 lbs to go.

    Alright guys so today looks something like this

    Breakfast- yoplait light yogurt and string cheese

    Lunch- About 2 ounces (yes! tiny amounts, it was literally a bite) of blackened chicken salad from whole foods, salad from whole foods salad bar which contained:
    - romaine lettuce
    - corn
    - cucumber
    - feta
    - cheddar
    - ranch

    ^ very tiny amounts of all of the above, made into a very enjoyable and palette pleasing salad. Super satisfying.

    And then one square of my new obsession, PEAR almond dark chocolate.. frm whole foods

    Snack- string cheese

    Dinner- Never ate the steak got caught up in something. Instead I had blackened chicken salad from whole foods, another square of dark choco, and an iced coffee.

    Now note, it may seem like im consuming alot, but my portions are so itty bitty.. I like to keep a variety of things to eat, but small amounts.. tht was ill never get bored.
  • Hi ladies! Hope all is well. Its chilly out here in Chicago, hating the weather. I dont feel like eating tday.. at all. Im not weighing myself for a few days, I feel like seeing a little "whoosh" So as far as im concerned I might still be possibly at 182 idk yet. at t-19 Ill weigh in.

    So today-

    breakfast- Jamba juice carrot smoothie.. it had carrot, banana, orange, and a energy boost.. high recommended it was delicious. in size "sixteen" aka sixteen ounces aka, small.

    Lunch- 1/2 fish sandwich, 2 strips grilled chicken w/baby carrots dipped in cucumber yogurt sauce

    Snacks- string cheese, one bite of apple pie, one square of dark chocolate

    Dinner- 1 filet tilapia, 1 serving broccoli n cheese, 1 tbsp of tarter sauce.


    btw Im addicted to the scale.. cant wait to weigh myself.

  • okay so I did weigh myself Bc I couldn't help it.. Slave to the scale much lol. Okay so today I weighed in at 179!! So I went from high 180s to 170s in 10 days.. This mean I'm 1/3 of a way done with my challenge and I've lost a total of 9 lbs through a some what strict diet and just staying active.. One more thing that I've realized during this process is that I'm not necessarily sensitive to all carbs.. I'm more sensitive to simple carbs versus complex carbs BC when i eat fruit or fruit smoothies i still lose weight in the same manner as i did not eating any carbs so that's a good feeling..

    So today looks like:

    Breakfast: medium iced coffee frm McDonald's w/half a cup of Yoplait pineapple upside down yogurt

    Lunch- currently sitting at whole foods, eating a salad tht consists of :

    Romaine
    Kale
    Cucumber
    Red onion
    Cheddar cheese
    slivered almonds
    corn
    Carrot shavings
    Ranch
    Ground pepper
    sprinkle of sea salt

    Dinner- 1/4 blue berry muffin, dark chocolate, salad, chicken n yogurt. yum!

    Btw i hope my posts r motivating sme of you.. I cnt wait to post my pics at the end of this challenge. Happy healthy day I'll be back to post dinner.. t-21 days

  • Hi everyone! So todays post is going to be short, for I am running short of time today. So Im not going to weigh in for a couple days.. just cuz. But I am getting alot of "wow u lost weight" comments, which is such motivation. Okay so today

    Breakfast- Medium Iced coffee w/sugar free vanilla syrup from McD


    Lunch- 2 meats balls, 1/4 of a potato, 1 wheat tortilla (special middle eastern dish)

    Dinner- 1 grilled chicken breast with gluten free bbq sauce and 1 nectarine

    Snack- Honey teddy grahams (8-10), 1/2 piece of hazelnut choco.
  • Cheat day after 11 days. I deserved it not gonna post was just 2 cookies, some lasagna, 3 squares of pizza. Alright so t-19.. 2.5 weeks, 10 lbs.. Im gonna go for it

    Breakfast: green juice (kale,cucumber,apple)

    Lunch: 3 meat balls, 1 sq choco

    Dinner-- went to chili's.. 6 ounches sirloin,broccoli,few fries, sme chocolate molten cake, few bites of rice pudding.

    Kay I've been bad, very very bad!! Time to retrack.. I'm gonna be back on plan 100% for the next 18 days.. I want to be at 170 at the end but im only gonna weight myself 3 times next week n a half
