I go to the doctor Friday and they always weigh you. Well, I've been bad Monday and yesterday. Monday I went to the buffet (I try to only go once a month) and yesterday I went to taco bell and ate 930+ over my daily limit. I only went to the gym monday, but I'm going today and to a rock concert tomorrow. Think I could still drop at least a pound by Friday or Monday?
Maybe, maybe not: you'll be fighting sodium from the fast food. Nonetheless, use this as an opportunity to think about what went wrong this week and how you can avoid it in the future. And make sure to eat extra healthy for the the rest of the week: lots of veggies and lean proteins and no junk food!
I notice you post about cheating on your diet a lot. If you don't drop any weight at the doctors take that as a lesson that you need to stop messing yourself up.
If you have to go to Taco Bell, choose a healthier option. Drop the buffet because keeping control is obviouslly not working for you.
You are in control, if you want to see results you have to work for them and start saying no to unhealthy food choices.

The diet thing does fluctuate a bit, but most of what I eat is decided by my parents unless I'm eating at home.
Your parents decide what you put in your mouth? I think you are more in control than you think! You can pick healthier options even at a buffet.
Friday is almost 2 days away so you have between now and then to undo the damage of the past few days. You can do this! Even if Friday is up, it's just one weigh-in and it does not dictate the rest of you life.
I know how you feel! It's never fun to weigh-in after a week of slip-ups. I weigh-in on Saturday mornings and my goal, even if I have been horrible, terrible and binge like mad, is to finish the week strong! Even if that just means one day of eating and exercising on plan!
Seriously, you may gain weight, but make it your goal to be strong today & tomorrow so you head into Friday feeling confident. If you gain weight, you already know why and you'll feel prepared, you can handle it. If you maintain or lose - then great! Keep up the momentum.
When I'm having a bad day/week (I am a crazy binger) - I work harder to keep up the other positives in my program. Ate 3x more than I wanted? Well, I make sure I work out, get all my water, take my vitamins, get a great night's sleep and eat my fruits & veggies. When I'm "blowing it" with binges, I can at least do other things "right."
So..I did gain 2 pounds since Monday (I weighed myself today at the gym). BUT I'm not discouraged. I know that's why it happened. So I'm just gonna work twice as hard, you know? [:
I do need some advice. I'm going to a band festival with my school and I know for a fact that we're going to Golden Corral. What should I eat there (aside from salad) that won't make me swell up like a balloon?
Eating at a chain restaurant is TOUGH. Most everything is loaded with sodium. I would go on their website and see if they list nutritional info. That's the only way I eat at the chains now. Even if you're eating something low fat or low carb or low calorie, it can have 1000 or 2000mg or more of sodium! Crazy!
I know how you feel about the parents thing; I go to school during the week and am usually pretty good about staying on plan. This week I had a piece of my birthday cake on Monday, but hey, one piece of cake won't kill me. But tomorrow, my parents want to grill steaks and not ONLY do they want to grill steaks but they ALWAYS want to cook Ribeyes, which is like the most unhealthy steak possible. I don't want to skip out, so I guess I'm just gonna have to eat all piddly tomorrow so I can prepare for the big meal. They're big time on "Eating like this once or twice a week won't kill your diet!" but I don't want to have to cheat on my diet every time I come home just because they want to cook out. It's hard to deal with!
However, my suggestion for the buffet is stick with vegetables and whatever lean meat you can find, if they have it, and only eat one plate of food. I know that's hard at a buffet, but if you wanna stick to your plan sometimes you gotta do that stuff.
I had an entire week of slip ups, and decided to skip my weigh-in today. I know I should face up to my poor eating this past week but I just fear a gain will only discourage me. So I'm just gonna stay on plan this week so I can weigh myself with confidence next Friday.
